Notes

My team performed this case study for our Consumer Behavior marketing class. The idea was to analyze a failed product to understand why it failed. Each week the class learned new concepts regarding the attitudes and perceptions of consumers and applied the new ideas to the final project.

The paper examines the motives and the external market into which the product was launched, as well as why it ultimately failed.

Because the professor required us to follow strict guidelines, it is not set up as neatly as I would prefer, but the contents are high quality and achieve the project objectives. I also had little creative freedom with the slideshow, so it does not follow the typical standard for the quality of my slideshows. I included it in my portfolio because it's the first project I've completed with the objective of understanding consumer behavior and product failures rather than studying a successful business model or creating a feasible business plan. Please note, the Italian expectations for citations are different from the U.S., and the paper does not contain a formal citation page, nor do I have consent to share the names of my team members.
