Netflix Case Study

This is a case study of Netflix for a Marketing class project.


Purpose:
Analyze Netflix's business model and answer case questions regarding its competitors, innovations, and operational/acquisition decisions
Assignment Deliverables:

Read the case and research Netflix

Write a paper including a case update, history, SWOT analysis, and answer all case questions

Create a 45-minute presentation and present findings to the class and professor
Notes:
This has undoubtedly been the best team I have worked with. I remain friends with several teammates and this group renewed my passion for marketing after a year removed from any marketing classes. I also worked with this team on the AccessibilityBuddy project for the same class, listed on my Projects page. I would like to give credit and thanks to Reese Munson, Jackson Krop, Niheala Ponnatha, Sam Nelson, Alex Nydahl, and Mason Avery for being such wonderful and innovative teammates.

I created the slideshow and worked on the overall design, but each team member did their own section. To see our slideshow, click the button below. I presented Netflix's competitors for the first case question. I would like to note that I use my presentations as a resource, but most of my information comes from speaking, so the presentation, while complete, may not demonstrate the whole picture. For the paper, I wrote the portion regarding competitors, the conclusion, and assisted in writing the SWOT analysis. Click below to read our paper.
